Built for design practices

We integrate cleanly into how your studio already works.

You should not have to project-manage your electrical contractor. The steps below follow the RIBA Plan of Work (2023): we can join from Stage 0, and most studios bring us in formally from Stage 3 when drawings and specs need to be buildable. We pick up where your spec leaves off and deliver back something you can hand to your client without caveats.

  1. Feasibility: load growth, renewables or storage, listed-building constraints — electrical risks surfaced before the brief hardens.

  2. Client outcomes, sustainability targets, smart-home ambition vs budget — lightweight input so the programme stays realistic.

  3. Lighting intent, control topology, major containment ideas — we stay aligned with architecture before Stage 3 locks detail.

  4. Buildable spec review, KNX, Rako, Lutron and Control4 trade-offs, realistic budget bands you can quote with confidence.

  5. Schematics, containment routes, M&E coordination, lighting scenes, control philosophy — fully resolved before we are on site.

  6. Tidy first-fix, weekly progress notes for your PM, clean second-fix, no surprises at snagging.

  7. Commissioning packs, NICEIC certs, O&M manuals, client walkthrough — everything signed off and ready to archive.

Selected client feedback

Quieter placement. Fewer reviews. More restraint.

  • “Really pleased with the work Nyxion did for us. From the first visit through to completion, everything was handled professionally and the whole job ran smoothly. The Rako system was set up brilliantly and has made a huge difference to how the lighting works day to day. The finish was neat, everything was explained clearly, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Would happily recommend them.”

  • “A very neat and tidy job done in our Garden Room. Has really made a difference to the look and feel of it. 10/10”

    Sam. Surrey · April 2026
